Three babies are born with a cleft lip and/or palate every day in the UK, and they face a 20-year treatment pathway which can continue well into adulthood. The Cleft Lip & Palate Association (CLAPA) is here to make sure no one has to go through this alone.
Every donation will help CLAPA to continue to provide specialist, targeted services to give people affected by cleft the knowledge and emotional support they need, while their UK-wide community brings together people from all walks of life to share experiences and learn to cope.
Lymphoma Action is the UK’s only charity dedicated to lymphoma, the fifth most common cancer.
We’ve been providing in-depth, expert information and wide-ranging support for over 30 years, helping thousands of people affected by lymphoma. Our work drives improvements in the diagnosis, treatment, and aftercare of lymphoma.

I have chosen these two charities because two of my grandchildren were born with cleft lip and palate and have both had to undergo several procedures to correct it. 10 years ago I myself was unfortunate enough to contract Hodgkins Lymphoma and I cannot thank the medical staff and people that carry out research into this disease enough for the treatment which thankfully cured me.
